I have returned to blogging yet again. Hmm, I wonder how many times I've said that before? Well, I have a good feeling that I will keep up with it this time. I've got a layout that I like and have lots to talk about. So why wouldn't I start blogging?
Also notice the link at the top to my Graphics blog. Having a place to share all my work also motivates me to do some new stuff. Everything on there now is pretty old even though I just uploaded it all today. I have a good feeling that I'll be popping out some new graphics soon. Right now I'm working on a secret project of mine. It's a band cover. That's all the info I'm giving out. The design in my head has proven to be a difficult transition to digital art, but I shall find a way to get it organized.
I also plan to finally get a new camera soon. I bought another Xbox 360 last month because my second one died. And I should be getting some Best Buy Reward Zone rebates back from that purchase. I plan to use that to go towards a new camera. So within the next month I hope to have it. I want to stick with Cannon but I may venture out due to prices.
I also plan to review movies, games, TV shows, and books/comics on this blog too. Anything to help keep this blog active.
Let's get to some updates on my life. As some of you (my friends) already know, I gave up my rights to Emily (my daughter) last month. Melanie (my ex-wife) is already re-married to the guy I suspected she was messing around with while we were still married. It hasn't even been a full year after our divorce. I was only getting to see Emily every Wednesday after work until 6:30pm (4 hours), and every other Saturday from 7:30am - 5:30pm (10 hours). I was also paying out my ass for child support. But once they got married I offered him the option of adopting Emily. He accepted. Now I don't get to see Emily anymore unless she wants to see me.
Zoe (my Jack Russell/Shih Tsu mix) is doing very well. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out with having a dog in an apartment. Thankfully, my Mom talked me into taking her home with me. Now she is spoiled and happy. She's actually chowing down on one of her big dog treats under my feet right now. Afterwords she is going to want to play. I love playing with her. She loves tug-of-war and keep away. Or at least I like to believe she does. I also have the blessing to take her to work with me everyday. The way that came to fruition is when I first got her from my Mom she was only 4 weeks old and hadn't been weened off milk yet. So I had to feed her every so many hours. My manager at work fell in love with her, along with all the other employees (except the 2 owners of the buisness). So now she gets to come to work with me everyday. She's kind of like the Label Source mascot now. Also, since she has been there, our workload has doubled if not tripled. So she has definitely brought good fortune to us at Label Source.
My progress with the P90X workout has pretty much stopped. After pulling a muscle in my back I gradually slacked off until I ultimately quit doing the workout. But maybe one day in the future I will start that back up.
As for my free time, I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII, Battlefield Bad Company, and occasionally Starcraft II Beta. FFXII is one of the most gorgeous games I have ever played. Unfortunately the game is VERY linear and it seems like its just corridor after corridor. However, in Chapter 11, the game iopens up a bit. But once I finally beat the story I plan on giving my full review of this sexy game.
You may also notice the links to my Facebook and Twitter accounts on the bottom of the page. I don't ever update my Twitter account because I mainly use it for following various people. Besides, I update my status on Facebook whenever the mood strikes me. I hate those people that think they need to update their Facebook/Twitter everytime they do something. X: off to work, X: Going to bed, X: Eating dinner, etc.. Ugh! It's to the point that if you want to you could piece together their entire weekly schedule based on their status updates.
I do believe this has been a pretty decent post updating my life to everyone that's interested. Let's just cross our fingers in hopes of me keeping it up in the future.
Later Gators
